Thanksgiving and The Holiday Season

Hey Guys-

Sorry I have been MIA for awhile, things have been pretty crazy with the holidays and stuff. So I don't have any recipies or anything for this post, just a real simple posting of what I am thankful for this Thanksgiving and holiday season. We all have so much going on in our lives, good and bad, that we sometimes forget what we have. I know that I do once in a while. The last month or so has been really hard for me and I kind of just put everything good on the back burner while I focuced on everything hard. Now I realize that I need to be really thankful for those things.

1. My Family

My family is my everything, I love them so much! There are days that I wonder if I really am related to this person, but at the end of the of the day I love them just the same with all my heart!

2. My Life.
A lot of people complain that they never have what they want or they want more. I have been guilty of this. But I have realized that I could have it a lot worse, I could not have a roof over my head or no food to eat.

3. My Friends.
Over the last couple of years I have gone through some hard times with a few friends, making me wonder if they were true friends. Over the course of this time I have realized who my real friends are and I couldn't be more grateful for them. Being the true people that they are and always being there. I couldn't Love them more!

4. Education.
I am really thankful that I have had the option to go to college and have a chance to further my education. Even though right now I am taking a semester off because of certian reasons, I am forever thankful for even the chance that I have already had so far and the chances I wil have in the future.

5. Health.
I am so thankful that all in all I am pretty healthy. I pray daily for those in my family that are not and struggle. I know that the holidays are a hard time to think about these things, but if you think about the positive and all that is good you might actually help someone in your family.

6. Social Networking
So just for fun and last but not least I am thankful for social networking. Facebook, Twitter, Blogspot...It has been a way to keep in touch with all my friends and family that I don't get time to call or the time difference screws up. Gives me a chance to do my blog and tell y'all what I am thankful for and for that I am thankful!

So I hope that you all had a great Thanksgiving and you remember the true meaning of it. As Christmas draws near I also hope that you remember what it is also about. I will do another blog before Christmas when I do some baking, but I am on vacation right now in North Dakota seeing family. So I will wish you all a Merry Holiday Season!
